  Lt Gen Jamil Haider, HI (M), S Bt (Retd)   CEO/MD

Lt Gen Jamil Haider, HI (M), S Bt (Retd) joined the Pakistan Army in 1971 and was commissioned in the Regiment of Artillery in July 1972. He had a distinguished career in the Pakistan Army spanning over 40 years. He was decorated with Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) and awarded gallantry award of Sitara-e-Basalat during the Kargil conflict. His diverse experience in the Army includes Brigade Major of an Infantry Brigade, Instructor at the Pakistan Military Academy, Commands of an Infantry Brigade, Infantry Division, Corps and Army Strategic Force Command. He also served on the appointments of Vice Chief of Logistics Staff, Director General Logistics, Deputy Chief of General Staff and Inspector General Arms at General Headquarters. He managed the operations at Chaklala Airport in 2005 earthquake and was responsible for timely despatch of relief aid to various areas through road and helicopters. He had the honour of serving as Defence and Military Attaché to Nepal from April 1994 to November 1997.

He is a graduate of Command and Staff College Quetta, Jordanian Staff College Jordan and National Defence University Islamabad and holds Masters Degree in War/Strategic Studies.

At present he is Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director Foundation Power Company Daharki Limited (FPCDL), a subsidiary of Fauji Foundation, one of the largest Corporate / Welfare Organization of Pakistan. 

He is an ardent player of squash.

  Brig Hamid Usman, TI (M), SI (M), (Retd)  Secretary

Brig Hamid Usman, TI (M), SI (M), (Retd) joined Pakistan Army in 1977 and was commissioned in an Air Defence Regiment in 1981. He had a distinguished career in the Pakistan Army spanning over 36 years. In recognition of his meritorious service, he was awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military) and Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military). His diverse experience in the Army includes service in Military Secretary’s Branch, Military Operations Directorate, United Nations Military Observer, Instructor Command and Staff College Quetta, Command of an Air Defence Brigade and Director at Military Intelligence Directorate in GHQ. He also served as Administrator of a Defence Housing Authority and had a short stint in Pakistan International Airlines.

A graduate of Command and Staff College, Quetta, Joint Services Staff College, France and National Defence University Islamabad, he holds Masters Degrees in War/Strategic and Defence Studies.

At present he is Secretary Foundation Power Company Daharki Limited.

An avid reader, he is a keen player of basketball. 

  Mr Syed Muhammad Rafiullah  Senior Manager Finance

Mr Syed Muhammad Rafiullah, possesses more than 14 years of experience in the field of Finance and Accounting. Mr. Rafi had been associated with KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co. Chartered Accountants wherein he gained experience in Audit, Tax and Corporate services. He worked as Manager Finance in Touchstone Communications from 2006-07. Mr. Rafi joined FPCDL in 2007 as Assistant Manager Finance and owing to his intellect, has scaled the ladder and now has been appointed as Senior Manager Finance/ Chief Financial Officer with effect from 01 January 2016.

  Mr Haroon Zaman  Assistant Manager Finance

Mr Haroon Zaman, possesses more than 13 years of experience in the field of Finance and Accounting including the Income Tax and Sales Tax. He joined FPCDL in 2007 and has served as Accounts Officer prior to his present appointment as Assistant Manager Finance with effect from 16 April 2012.

Prior to joining FPCDL, Haroon worked with Fauji Kabirwala Power Company Ltd (157 MW CCPP) from 2003-2007 as an Accountant.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with Majors in Finance.

  Mr. Muhammad Rizwan Shaukat  Assistant Manager Admin & HR

Mr. Muhammad Rizwan Shaukat possesses Masters Degree in Human Resource Management.

He has an extensive background in HR generalist affairs, including experience in employee recruitment and retention, staff development, negotiations, conflict resolution, benefits and compensation, HR records management, HR policies development and legal compliance.

He joined FPCDL as HR & Admin Officer in February 2009. Presently he is serving as Assistant Manager Administration and Human Resource.

  Mr. Muhammad Tughral Salman Assistant Manager Internal Audit

Mr. Muhammad Tughral Salman is an FCCA, member CPA and an ICAEW finalist. He has formerly been associated with KPMG Pakistan (KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co., a member firm of KPMG International) for 8 years and joined FPCDL in January 2016. He has more than 8 years of experience in Auditing, Statutory Compliance and Financial Reporting. He is currently managing the Compliance, Risk and Internal Audit function of FPCDL.


  Mr. Anas Bin Akram  Accounts Officer

Mr. Anas Bin Akram is an ACCA member. He has formerly been associated with KPMG Pakistan (KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co., a member firm of KPMG International) for about four years. He has also worked in Southern Travel Network as Assistant Manager Finance. He possesses more than five years of experience in Auditing, Finance and Accounts. He joined FPCDL as Accounts Officer in November 2015.


  Mr. Aftab Mahmood Staff Officer to MD

Mr. Aftab Mahmood is a postgraduate in Chemistry from University of the Punjab Lahore and an associate of Institute of Industrial Managers, London, UK.

He possesses rich professional experience of working as staff officer with top executives including CEOs and Managing Directors. He is performing the duties of Staff Officer with CEO/MD FPCDL since December 2013.




  Mr. Muhammad Ubaid Ur Rehman    General Manager Plant

Muhammad Ubaid Ur Rehman was appointed as General Manager Plant on 29 March 2012. He had been working with FPCDL since December 2007 as Manager Electrical. He has over 26 years of diversified experience in Management, Energy Conservation Projects, Operation and Maintenance of Grid and Transmission Networks, Project Execution, Contract Management, Planning / Forecasting, Budgeting, Procurement, Performance and Operation & Maintenance of Combined Cycle Power plant.

Before joining FPCDL, he served in WAPDA and KAPCO on different appointments. He got his technical and management training from WAPDA Academy and LUMS and started his career an Assistant Director at National Institute of Power Lahore in May 1990.

He is a graduate from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore in Electrical Engineering.

  Mr Zahid Hussain Qazi  Manager Maintenance

Mr. Zahid Hussain Qazi is a professional with an excellent academic record. He has 16 years of experience in the diverse range of Combined Cycle Power Plant Business such as Design Review, Installation Testing / Commissioning and Operation & Maintenance. He also has extensive expertise in Heavy Duty Gas Turbine maintenance and performance evaluation.

He is a graduate of Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering Science and Technology, Nawab Shah in Mechanical Engineering. He joined FPCDL in May 2008.

  Lt Col Sajid Mahmood Warraich, (Retd) Manager Security and Administration

Lt Col Sajid Mahmood Warraich (Retd) was commissioned in Pakistan Army in 1989. After successful completion of Army Service, he retired on 30 October 2015. He brings along a vast experience of various command and staff appointments related to Logistics, Military Police and Investigation.

He is serving as Manager Security and Administration Plant Site Daharki since 28 December 2015.

  Mr. Muhammad Owais Assistant Manager E&I

Mr. Owais possesses a degree in electronics engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Islamabad and an MBA Executive degree from Bahauddin Zakariya Univserity Multan. Post-graduation he served Kot Addu Power Company Ltd (KAPCO) for around four and half yearsin the capacity of E&I maintenance engineer. Being the largest independent thermal power producer of PakistanKAPCO has nourished him professionally and helped him excel in multifarious fields like maintenance, operations, health & safety and project & contract management etc. Prior to joining FPCDL Mr. Owais has also remained part of the safety department of a leading multinational concern, Philip Morris International.
